Steve Stockman

Steve Stockman,

Steve Stockman came to southeast Houston at the age of 30, in 1986. He graduated from the University of Houston in 1990 and immediately began seeking a position in government, in which to launch his agenda of disruption. Since that time he has only been successful once, in 1994, when he rode the tide of Newt Gingrich's takeover of Texas by the Republican Party. The upset of long time Democrat Jack Brooks was a blow to far southeast Texas. Orange County voted 67% for Congressman Brooks. With Stockman's defeat by Nick Lampson in 1996, he continued his attempts to return to Washington, without success. For the last 15 years Stockman has lived and worked out of southeast Texas. Even now his presumptive home/headquarters is not located in the 36th District. It didn't matter whether he ran in the 22nd District or the 36th District, because he's not doing it to represent the citizens of the district. He's doing it to represent Steve Stockman.

If YOU, the residents of the Texas 36th Congressional District, set back and let this guy represent us to the nation, then I guess I don't know who my friends and neighbors really are.

Please, don't allow Steve Stockman and the "Tea Party" to speak on our behalf!
